Sanjay Nishad gave ultimatum to BJP before UP legislative elections, decide on reservation, otherwise we will look at the other door

New Delhi. Before the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, BJP's ally Nishad Party has increased pressure on the issue of reservation. In the general conference held at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi, National President of Nishad Party Sanjay Nishad clearly indicated that if no decision is taken on the issue of giving reservation to Nishad community, then the party will be free to decide the future strategy. Sanjay Nishad said that he will support only when there is talk of reservation. BJP will have to take a decision soon. If no decision is taken then we will look at another door.

Demand to include Nishad community in SC category

Nishad said that his long standing demand is that Nishad community should be included in the Scheduled Caste category. He claims that political parties are suffering losses due to this society not getting the benefit of reservation.

He said that BJP has given the benefit of reservation to women and other sections and now a decision should be taken on the demand of Nishad community also. According to him, the government will be formed by the one who talks about reservation for Nishads.

Warning of loss to BJP

Sanjay Nishad also said in the Mahasammelan that if the demand for reservation is not met then its political impact can be seen. He appealed to the workers to be ready for struggle and said that ignoring the public can prove costly for any party.

He claimed that the support of Nishad Party is important in the politics of Uttar Pradesh and big political parties also understand its importance. Sanjay Nishad said that any government is incomplete without Nishad Party. Both BJP and Samajwadi Party want the support of Nishad Party.

Sanjay Nishad also targeted Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. He challenged him to contest from Gorakhpur and said that he should contest from any assembly seat without the support of BJP. This statement has also become a topic of discussion in political circles.

Increased discussion on changing political signals

For some time now, Sanjay Nishad's statements are being seen as a sign of growing resentment within the alliance. Recently, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has also said that many small political parties are in touch with the opposition. In such a situation, Sanjay Nishad's strict comment on reservation and warning of looking at the “second door” have given rise to new discussions in the electoral politics of Uttar Pradesh. Now everyone's eyes are on what stance BJP takes on the demands of its ally and what will be the picture of the alliance in the coming months?
