The family dispute between Haryanvi dancing queen and famous actress Sapna Choudhary and her husband Veer Sahu has now come to the fore. Amidst strict court orders and reports of mutual discord, Veer Sahu posted a new video reel on his social media on Wednesday, which has created new suspense on the internet. In this video reel, a person is tying a traditional Haryanvi turban on the head of Veer Sahu and Veer is seen smiling. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s famous qawwali/ghazal ‘Aankh Uthi Mohabbat Ne Angdai Li’ is playing in the background of this reel. After the rift in the relationship, Veer Sahu’s parents have maintained complete silence on the entire incident. He has not yet given any official response to the media or public regarding this high-profile family dispute and court case. Let us tell you that Veer Sahu, who hails from village Madanheri in Hansi area of Haryana, is known for sharing videos and posts of his songs, desi lifestyle and outspoken statements on Instagram. Veer Sahu will not be able to meet Sapna; Strict order of Delhi’s Dwarka Court The biggest legal turn in this dispute came when the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Nidhi Singh of Delhi’s Dwarka Court issued a strict interim order while hearing Sapna Choudhary’s petition. According to the new order of the court, Veer Sahu will now neither be able to meet Sapna Chaudhary in person nor will he be able to contact her through any medium. The court’s official stance: "The respondent (Veer Sahu) is restrained from having any access to the petitioner (Sapna Choudhary) till the next hearing. He shall not contact the petitioner in any digital or other manner, visit his residence or workplace nor commit any act of domestic violence."
Citing the release of the film and personal security, Sapna Choudhary had filed her petition in the court and expressed serious fear of any kind of hindrance in her personal security and professional commitments in view of the release of her upcoming film. Taking this as the basis, the court has provided interim relief to Sapna in the case filed under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. Lawyer’s arguments and evidence presented in the court Sapna Choudhary’s lawyer argued before the court that if his client is not given legal protection immediately, he may suffer irreparable loss. This can have a serious impact on their social dignity and personal safety as well as hamper their professional work, including their attendance at premieres and promotional events of their upcoming films. The court carefully perused Sapna’s main petition, affidavit and the concrete evidence presented in the court, including photographs of the alleged injuries and some important electronic evidence. After this, the court prima facie found sufficient grounds to issue summons to Veer Sahu and provide interim relief to Sapna. Strict instructions to the administration and local police: Understanding the sensitivity and seriousness of the case, the Dwarka Court has issued strict instructions to the Protection Officer and the Station House Officer (SHO) of the concerned local police station. The court has said that the police force should ensure strict implementation of these orders of the court on the ground and provide immediate security assistance to the petitioner (Sapna Choudhary) if required. According to media reports, Sapna Chaudhary has made serious allegations of assault and torture against her husband Veer Sahu, after which she has also left her in-laws house. It is noteworthy that Sapna Choudhary had a love marriage with Veer Sahu in the year 2020, after which both of them have a son. Next hearing on July 25: Taking forward the legal proceedings of this high-profile case, the court has fixed July 25, 2026 for the next hearing. On this date, further arguments and replies from both the parties will be presented in the court.
