Satheesan will take oath as Chief Minister in Kerala today, CMs of 3 states including Congress high command will attend.

In the assembly elections held in Keralam, the Congress-led UDA had registered a historic victory on 102 seats. After this victory recorded on 102 seats out of 140, VD Prasad, elected for the post of Chief Minister, will take oath as the Chief Minister on Monday i.e. today.

Let us tell you that on May 18, he is going to take the oath of office and secrecy along with his cabinet at the Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. During this period, many faces of the Congress high command are going to be present here.

Many faces of Congress will be included

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Lok Sabha member Rahul Gandhi, party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will register their special presence in this swearing-in ceremony of VD Satheesan. Chief Ministers of Karnataka, Telangana and Himachal Pradesh will also be present with him. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay has also been invited here.

There will be 21 members in the new cabinet

VD Satheesan has met Governor Rajendra Arlekar on Sunday and submitted the final list of his associates. According to the information, a total of 21 members are going to be included in this cabinet along with Satheesan. Balance has been created by including both experienced leaders and young faces in this list.

In view of the alliance agreement, 14 newly elected members including two women and two members of the Scheduled Caste community have also been given place. The main ally of this alliance is the Indian Union Muslim League which has got five cabinet seats.
