Saudi Arabia Attack on Yemen: Saudi carried out such an airstrike on Yemen that many people lost their lives. Let us tell you that on Saturday, at least 33 people were killed and 39 others were injured in a Saudi airstrike on a village near Yemen's capital Sanaa, Reuters reported quoting the Houthi-run Saba News Agency. The attack comes amid renewed fighting between Saudi Arabia and the Iran-linked Houthi group, which began in July.
Women and children were among those killed
The attacks included houses in Husaysh, east of Sanaa. According to the Houthi-run agency, most of those killed were women and children. Reuters said it could not verify the report itself, while Saudi Arabia's Center for International Communication said it was investigating the claims. Abdul-Aziz al-Dailaimi, director of Sehtouna Hospital in Sanaa, told Reuters that many people, including rescue workers, were trapped under the debris. He further said that many seriously injured patients had come to the hospital.

The war started again
The renewed fighting has put a halt to a UN-brokered ceasefire in 2022. Since fighting resumed, the Houthis have launched missile and drone attacks on Saudi airports and oil facilities, while Riyadh has launched airstrikes in Yemen. This recent increase has made Yemen's humanitarian crisis even worse. The International Organization for Migration (IOM) said in October that more than 200,000 people had been left homeless since fighting resumed.
