On the basis of Udayatithi, the beginning of Shravan month will be considered from 30th July 2026. Saavan will end on 28th August 2026 on Shravan Purnima. With the beginning of Sawan, Kanwar Yatra will also start from 30th July 2026 (Sawan 2026). In many states including Delhi NCR, this Yatra will continue till Monthly Shivratri 11 August 2026. During this time, Shiva devotees will perform Jalabhishek of Shivalinga by bringing Ganga water from Haridwar and other holy places.
