Sayoni Ghosh wrote on social media X, Bharatiya Janata Party has not even officially taken power yet, yet unrest has started. Demolition is taking place continuously throughout Bengal. The roads are deserted, the atmosphere is sad. Party offices are being demolished one by one, candidates and workers are being physically attacked in front of central forces, shops are being closed, mother canteens are being demolished, people riding on bikes are raising war cries, obscene songs are being played on loudspeakers, men and women from every section of the society are being threatened in the name of political victory. I don’t think this is the Sonar Bangla that the people of Bengal voted for and hope the media will have the courage to show these scenes, but I am already seeing signs of their switching sides and sycophancy.
