Capitalized on the opportunity given in place of Nathan Lyon
In this match, Scott Boland was included in Australia's playing eleven in place of star spinner Nathan Lyon. Boland proved this decision of the captain absolutely right. After giving initial shocks on the first and second days, he continued his sharp bowling on the third day as well and completed his five-wicket haul by dismissing Marco Jansen. This is the third 5-wicket haul in the career of Boland, who made his Test debut late at the age of 32.
