Patiala- Additional District Magistrate Anupreeta Johal, exercising the powers under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Defense Code, 2023, has issued restrictive orders around the examination centers for the smooth conduct of the September 2026 examinations.
According to the orders, the Punjab School Education Board is conducting the September 2026 examinations for classes X and XII from September 1 to September 22, 2026 in the examination centers established by the Board. A ban has been imposed on the gathering of five or more people around the examination centres.
These orders will be in force from 7 September 2026 to 22 September 2026. Additional District Magistrate said that if any person in the district is found violating these orders, immediate legal action will be taken against him as per rules.
