Sensation due to murder of EO in broad daylight in Sultanganj, main accused killed in encounter, three policemen injured

Bihar Crime: The atmosphere in Bihar’s Madhubani district became sombre when the information about Sultanganj Municipal Council Executive Officer (EO) Krishna Bhushan being shot dead in broad daylight reached his ancestral home. It was told that after entering the Municipal Council office, the criminals opened fire indiscriminately, in which EO Krishna Bhushan died on the spot. As soon as this news reached his house located in Gadiani locality of Madhubani, a wave of mourning ran in the entire area and the family members were in a bad state of tears. Expressing deep grief over the incident, the family has demanded early arrest of the culprits and a high-level investigation into the matter.

Here, after the incident, there was an encounter between the police and criminals during the recovery of weapons in Sultanganj. During this, the main accused Ramdhani Yadav died, while three policemen were injured.

Information reached family members through driver

According to the information, in this violent incident that took place in Sultanganj Municipal Council, criminals had killed Executive Officer Krishna Bhushan. His ancestral residence is in Gadiani Mohalla, Ward No. 12, Kasera Pokhar of Madhubani Headquarters. The family members received information about the incident through the EO’s driver at around 7:05 pm, after which there was mourning in the entire locality.

Main accused killed in encounter

Later, during the police action, a new update related to the encounter came to light. According to the police, on the basis of CCTV footage, the main accused Ramdhani Yadav, who is said to be the husband of the deputy chairman, was identified. He was being taken to recover weapons when he allegedly along with some other criminals started firing at the police team. In retaliation, the police also opened fire, in which Ramdhani Yadav was injured. During this time, DSP Naveen, Inspector Parmeshwar and Inspector Mrityunjay were also injured. All the injured were admitted to Mayaganj Hospital, where doctors declared Ramdhani Yadav brought dead, while the injured policemen are undergoing treatment.
