MDA woke up from sleep 7 months after the news was published on Pradafash News, Deepa Hospital was operating in the building on the showroom map.
Moradabad:- After the recent incident in Lucknow, Moradabad administration is on full alert. In this series, the team of Moradabad Development Authority (MDA) launched a big campaign against those who ignore the standards. The authority team has completely sealed ‘Deepa Hospital and Trauma Centre’, which was being operated by ignoring the rules. The authority had passed the showroom map but in this the hospital was being operated in the name of Deepa Hospital.

Better late than never, Pradafash News had published a news in November 2025 that a hospital was being run in a showroom building just 200 meters away from the MDA office. Even though Moradabad Development Authority woke up after 7 months after the Lucknow fire. After getting the showroom map passed from the authority, a hospital named Deepa Hospital was being run in this building without opening any showroom of any brand. Following the strict orders of District Magistrate Dr Rajendra Pesiya, immediate strict action should be taken against any kind of coaching centre, hospital or other business institute which is not meeting the standards. After that the authority took this action. Under the leadership of District Magistrate Dr. Rajendra Pansia and Senior Superintendent of Police Satpal Antil, safety audit of about 40 big coaching centers and professional institutions of the district has been started. Five special teams formed under the leadership of Chief Fire Officer Dr. Rajeev Kumar Pandey have so far completed the investigation of 35 institutions. The administration has made it clear that there will be no compromise on the safety of the general public. Giving a direct message of this strictness, an institute has been immediately sealed after it was found that the standards were being grossly ignored. This intensive checking campaign will continue across the city for the next one week.
According to MDA officials, this campaign will continue in the future against buildings constructed in the city without approved maps and ignoring safety standards. This swift action of the administration has created a stir among the land mafias and founders involved in illegal construction and violation of rules.
