Clarks Sandal Amazon Deal

  • Shoppers have purchased multiple pairs of the Clarks Arla WaveSlide Sandaland it’s now 67% off.
  • Podiatrists say to ditch your flimsy flip-flops. Shoppers with plantar fasciitis, bunions and flat feet like these supportive sandals instead.
  • The Clarks Arla WaveSlide Sandal is just one of thousands of Amazon Prime Day deals.

Every couple of weeks, I interview a podiatrist for shoe recommendations and shoe shopping tips. And there’s one piece of advice I hear over and over: ditch the flimsy flip-flops. Most pairs offer little to no cushioning or arch support—and over time, wearing this kind of shoe can lead to plantar fasciitis, shin splints or just general foot pain.

But not all sandals are banned: These Clarks sandals are designed to be supportive and well-fitted and are loved by shoppers with plantar fasciitis, flat feet and bunions—so much so that one reviewer has three pairs. And they’re just $23 during Amazon Prime Day.

This sandal is a new addition to the much-loved Clarks’ Cloudsteppers collection. As the name implies, Cloudsteppers shoes have a cloud-like sole thanks to their “Cushion Soft” technology and three layers of support: The footbeds are soft and cushiony, and below that is a layer of firm, yet supportive foam. The midsoles are a lightweight foam.

Not only are these sandals feather-light and cushioned, but shoppers say they are supportive for bunions, high arches, plantar fasciitis, flat feet and even old ankle injuries. “I have plantar fasciitis and an old ankle injury, so I was worried [these sandals] wouldn’t be supportive enough. These shoes were amazing. I lived in them for eight days on a cruise ship,” said one shopper. Another reviewer with wide feet, high arches and bunions said this: “I have a very hard time finding comfortable shoes that fit my feet, but these are awesome! I have bunions and very high arches, and am very limited on what shoes I can wear.”

Last Prime Day, one shopper traded in their Reef sandals for these. Another swapped these Clarks in for their usual Skechers sandals with a similar design.

The Arla WaveSlide Sandal has an adjustable strap so you can customize the fit and keep your foot firmly in place. Podiatrists have told me in past interviews that any unnecessary micromovements in a shoe or sandal while walking can aggravate the foot and lead to pain or injury. Many shoppers have also commented on how these sandals accommodate wide feet easily.

There’s one other feature to these sandals that shouldn’t be overlooked: They’re machine-washable! Choose from a few color combinations, all of which are marked down right now.
