Five passengers injured due to explosion during landing of Indigo flight at Chandigarh airport, chaos created

Chandigarh. A major accident took place on Tuesday during landing in Indigo flight coming from Goa to Chandigarh. The mobile power bank in the flight exploded during landing. According to initial information, five people are reported injured in this accident. The flight number is said to be 6E108. However, the number of injured is still likely to increase.

First fire broke out in power bank and then explosion

According to the information, during landing, the power bank of a person named Devansh, who was sitting on seat 39-F on the flight, suddenly caught fire. He informed this to the crew members. In this time the power bank exploded. The plane had landed at Chandigarh Airport at 3:32 pm and at around 3:35 pm, the mobile power bank exploded in flight.

Woman injured during stampede

There was a stampede inside the flight due to the explosion of the mobile power bank. During this time the emergency gate opened and some passengers started getting down from there. During this stampede, a woman was seriously injured. The injured woman has suffered leg injuries and has been admitted to a hospital in Zirakpur for treatment. It is being told that the woman is undergoing emergency operation.
