Severe heat and heat wave in UP: Doctor’s advice – go out of the house wearing a hat and glasses

Lucknow, 25 May. Due to the severe heat wave and heat situation in Uttar Pradesh, the government has made all the preparations and arrangements related to public safety. Meanwhile, the Health Department has advised people to remain alert regarding the scorching heat and heat wave. Dr Amardeep of Etah District Hospital said that people need to take special precautions during the current heat wave. People should avoid leaving the house unnecessarily between 11 am and 4 pm.

If you have to go out for some important work, use a thin cloth, cap or glasses on your head. Also, to avoid dehydration in the body, consume more fluids like juice, lemon water, plain water and sugarcane juice. He said that lack of water in the body due to heat can affect blood circulation, which increases health problems. The doctor also appealed to be especially careful about eating food kept outside. He said that just as food gets spoiled when kept outside the fridge, in the same way, food kept outside during weddings, bhandaras or other functions has the possibility of getting spoiled quickly. Eating such food can cause problems like vomiting and diarrhea.

Let us tell you that in view of the scorching heat and heat wave, the Yogi government is on alert. The government has put all hospitals on alert mode. Beds have been reserved in every hospital so that if a patient suffering from heatwave or heat wave comes, he can get immediate treatment. Besides, adequate availability of medicines has also been ensured. Apart from this, arrangements for cold water have been made in all the hospitals and instructions have been given to provide necessary medical care to the patients immediately. The state government has also appealed to the people to go out in the sun only when there is very important work, otherwise stay indoors and keep themselves safe.
