Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic dialogue used by Iran to mock Trump
A social media post from the Consulate General of Iran in Mumbai drew attention after it referenced a famous Bollywood dialogue while responding to recent comments linked to US President Donald Trump.
The consulate had posted a video on its official X (formely Twitter) account showing fast-moving boats and missile activity in the sea. The post was shared with the caption, “Red bees of the #PersianGulf… the fast missile boats are warming up.”
It further added a sharp message aimed at Trump’s earlier claim about Iran’s navy. The post read, “Funny how #Trump kept claiming #Iran’s navy was ‘finished’… now they’re about to find out how a swarm can pin you down real quick.”
The consulate also used a popular Bollywood reference, writing, “Abhi toh sirf trailer hai, picture abhi baaki hai.#HORMUZ.”
The line is extensively known from Shah Rukh Khan’s film Om Shanti Om and has been associated with dramatic comeback themes in popular culture.

The phrase sparked attention online as it was linked to rising pressures and ongoing political exchanges. The reference added a cinematic tone to the post, which quickly circulated on social media.
Earlier, Donald Trump had made comments on Truth Social, claiming that Iran’s naval strength had been severely weakened. He also warned about action against fast-attack ships near key maritime routes.
Following the remarks, the Iranian consulate’s post appeared to respond directly, using both military imagery and a well- known film dialogue to make its context.
The post continued to gain attention online, with users reacting to the unusual mix of politics and Bollywood culture in a geopolitical context
