Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Fadnavis practiced yoga in NSCI Dome, VIDEO going viral on social media

Shahid Kapoor Amruta Fadnavis Yoga Session: On the occasion of the 12th International Yoga Day on 21st June 2026, Mayanagari Mumbai was seen drenched with enthusiasm and energy. On this special occasion, a grand yoga program was organized at NSCI Dome in Mumbai, in which Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor and social activist Amrita Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, participated together.

Pictures and videos of the couple practicing yoga in the program are now making waves on social media. During the program, Amrita Fadnavis expressed happiness and said that today on the occasion of Yoga Day, there is an atmosphere of great happiness and enthusiasm everywhere.

India is the mother of yoga

He emphasized that International Yoga Day, of which India is the mother, is being celebrated all over the world today and it is a matter of pride for us. He further said that mere formal celebration is not enough, but it is necessary to take Yoga to those people who can understand its importance and adopt it in everyday life. Along with students of BMC schools, children of farmers associated with Divya Foundation, whose families have faced adverse circumstances, also participated in this program.

Shahid Kapoor led the yoga asanas

Shahid Kapoor, one of the fittest actors of Bollywood, led this massive yoga session along with Amrita Fadnavis. He performed various yoga asanas with the present crowd and gave the message to the citizens that yoga is very important for physical and mental strength. The main goal of this event was to spread the message of holistic health to the masses and encourage people to stay healthy for a long time.

Divija Fadnavis reminded her roots

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s daughter Divija Fadnavis also spoke on this occasion. He said that Yoga is our ancient heritage which we have received from our ancestors. According to Divija, even though it has become an international festival today, we should never forget our roots, our ancestors and our religion.
