The way is now clear to build two additional floors to his famous ‘Mannat’ residence in Mumbai. The Supreme Court has refused to interfere with the National Green Tribunal’s (NGT) decision dismissing a plea challenging the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) approval.
A bench headed by Chief Justice Suryakant dismissed the appeal filed by Mumbai-based social activist Santosh Daundkar. The appeal challenged the CRZ approval granted by the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) to construct the seventh and eighth floors of ‘Mannat’. However, the Supreme Court upheld the NGT’s decision and gave relief to Shah Rukh Khan.
Shah Rukh Khan bought the bungalow ‘Mannat’ in 2001 for around Rs 13 crores. Today, the price of this luxurious bungalow is estimated to be around Rs 300 crore. Hundreds of fans are seen thronging outside this bungalow which is the most talked about and the center of attraction for fans in Mumbai every day.

Another special thing about ‘Mannat’ is its attractive nameplate. The nameplate is designed by Gauri Khan and according to Magicbricks, the nameplate is priced at ₹25 lakh. The diamonds encrusted in the nameplate make it so expensive.
Meanwhile, according to Hurun India Rich List 2025, Shah Rukh Khan’s net worth is estimated to be around Rs 12,490 crore. Apart from films, his income also comes from advertisements, various business ventures and a stake in IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
