Shaktipeeth Mahamarg: Nagpur-Goa Shaktipeeth Highway will pass through 34 villages of Solapur district.

Shaktipeeth Mahamarg | The state government has changed the structure of the Nagpur to Goa Shaktipeeth highway due to the opposition of many farmers. According to the new plan, the Shaktipeeth Highway will now be from Wardhyatul Panar to Patradev in Goa. This route has been given the status of State Highway No. 10. This highway will go to Vidarbha, Marathwada, West Maharashtra and Konkan. According to the new plan, it will now pass through Barshi, Madha, Pandharpur and Malshiras taluks of Solapur towards Satara.

Friends, Sakthipeeth Highway will pass through the villages of Medshingi, Ruiwar, Wahradi, Begda, Surdi, Gaudgaon, Naregaon, Rui, Malegaon, Mungshi, Ratanjan, Sarjapur, Vairag, Muktai Water Park, Dhorale, Sawali, Dhanore in Barshi Taluka of Solapur district.

Manegaon, Chavanwadi, Wakaw, Kemal, Khairewadi, Vitthalwadi, Upalai Khurd, Upalai Budruk, Ropale, Wadachiwadi, Solankarwadi, Bavi, Modnimb, Aran, Tulsi in Madha taluka. The Shaktipeeth highway will pass through the villages of Nevere, Jambhud, Vitthalwadi, Malkhambi, Bhokewadi, Ghampur, Majrewadi, Bridge over Ghumera stream, Nimgaon, Garwad, Chandapuri in Malshiras taluka. So these villages will come directly on the map of Maharashtra.

Meanwhile, according to the new plan, the length of the Nagpur to Goa Shaktipeeth highway will now be approximately 856.76 km. Nagpur to Goa Shaktipeeth Highway will connect 13 districts, 40 talukas and around 400 villages of Maharashtra. This highway is passing through Vidarbha, Marathwada and West Maharashtra to Konkan. But according to the revised plan, many religious places will be moved away from the main Shaktipeeth highway. Mahurgarh will be about 17 km away from Shaktipeeth highway, Aundha Nagnath will be 14 km, Parli Vaijnath 11 km, Tuljapur 14 km and Pandharpur will be around 25 km. Not only this, Kolhapur’s Mahalakshmi temple will be 8 km, Kunkeshwar’s Shiva temple 25 km and Reddy’s Ganapati 32 km away. Due to this there is a possibility of crowding of devotees.
