Worship method of Hanuman ji on Shani Jayanti

On the day of Shani Jayanti, take bath in the morning and wear clean clothes. After this, go to Hanuman ji’s temple and offer jasmine oil, vermillion, red flowers and jaggery-gram to Hanuman ji. Offering red or orange chola to Hanuman ji on this day is also considered beneficial.

After this, it is auspicious to recite Hanuman Chalisa, Bajrang Baan or Sunderkand. In the evening, light a mustard oil lamp and perform aarti of Shanidev and Hanuman ji. On the day of Shani Jayanti, donate black sesame, urad dal, oil or food to the needy.

Light a four faced lamp under the peepal tree

On the night of Shani Jayanti, a four-sided lamp should be lit under the Peepal tree. Use mustard oil for this. After lighting the lamp, chant Shani Mantra ‘Om Sham Shanaishcharaya Namah’ Should be chanted at least 108 times. It is believed that after this one should go to one’s home without turning back. By doing these remedies one also gets relief from Saturn’s Sadesati and Dhaiya.
