Share market had a slow start, how was the condition of companies today?

There was sluggishness in the beginning of trading in the Indian stock market on Wednesday. Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex opened at the level of 72,730. In early trade, the Sensex reached the level of 72,520.04, a decline of about 9 points. At the same time, Nifty-50 of National Stock Exchange (NSE) also opened at the level of 22,679.50. In early trade, Nifty was seen trading with a decline of 36.70 points or 0.16%.

 

A mixed trend was seen in the shares of the companies in the early trade. TCS was the biggest gainer at 2.14%, while Tech Mahindra was up 1.75% and HCL Tech was up 1.63%. However, later a slight rise was recorded in the stock market.

How was the condition of the companies?

Today Indigo gained 1.45%, ICICI Bank gained 0.97% and Kotak Bank gained 0.85%. Apart from this, Adani Ports had the biggest decline of 1.71%. Sun Pharma was seen trading down by 1.26%, HDFC Bank by 0.91%, NTPC by 0.82%, Eternal by 0.54% and Bharti Airtel by 0.51%.

Today, the prices of both gold and silver have increased in the bullion market i.e. domestic market also. As soon as the market opened, the price of gold was seen rising and trading around Rs 1.49 lakh per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of silver also increased and was seen trading around Rs 2.26 lakh per kg.

 

Today 24 carat gold is trading around Rs 149,810 lakh per 10 grams, while 22 carat gold is trading around Rs 137,326 lakh per 10 grams. Apart from this, 18 carat gold is trending near Rs 112,358 lakh per 10 grams. The price of silver in India was seen trading around Rs 226,270 lakh per kg.
