Business Desk – Share Market Today: The Indian stock market is witnessing a rise today i.e. on Thursday, 3rd September. Sensex is trading at the level of 76,800, up about 200 points. At the same time, Nifty has also gained more than 50 points and has reached close to 24,000. More buying is being seen in Banking, Metal and Realty Stocks in the market.

Sensex-Nifty rise

In the initial trading, the inclination of investors is towards buying. Sensex has risen by about 200 points to reach around 76,800. Whereas Nifty is trading at the level of 24,000 with a gain of more than 50 points. The market is getting support from buying in banking, metal and realty stocks.

Asian markets also booming

Today, growth was also seen in major Asian markets. South Korea's Kospi was up 103 points or 1.57% at 6,652. Japan's Nikkei rose 130 points or 0.20% to 64,456. Hong Kong's Hang Seng also stood at 25,322 with a gain of 10 points or 0.12%.

American market also closed in gains

American stock markets also remained bullish on September 2. Dow Jones closed at 53,062, up 295 points or 0.56%. Nasdaq gained 118 points or 0.45% and reached 26,218. Whereas S&P 500 rose 35 points or 0.46% and closed at 7,667.

DII bought shares worth Rs 14,433 crore in 7 days

Domestic Institutional Investors i.e. DII (Domestic Institutional Investors) are continuously buying in the market. In the last 7 days, DII has bought shares worth Rs 14,433 crore. His purchases in the last 30 days have been Rs 62,293 crore. Even in the latest figures, DII purchases stood at Rs 2,813 crore. On the other hand, FII/FPI (Foreign Investors) have sold Rs 5,194 crore in the last 7 days. Selling by foreign investors in the last 30 days stood at Rs 3,069 crore.

The market closed with a decline on Wednesday

Earlier on Wednesday, September 2, there was a decline in the Indian stock market. The Sensex fell 374 points and closed at 76,570. Nifty also fell by 141 points and reached the level of 23,914.

Today, amid the initial rise in the market, investors are keeping an eye on the activities of foreign investors along with Banking, Metal, Realty Stocks. It remains to be seen whether the buying trend continues in the coming trading or the market comes under pressure again.
