Sharvari pours her heart out on ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ response

Actress Sharvari shared an emotional note expressing her feelings about the response she has been receiving for her recently released film, Main Vaapas Aaunga.

Imtiaz Ali’s latest directorial opened to an underwhelming response from audiences. However, surprisingly, positive word of mouth changed the game for this partition drama, as it witnessed an incredible 130 percent growth on its second Saturday.

On social media, people have been making reels and sharing their heartfelt experiences of watching the romantic drama, calling it another masterpiece by Imtiaz Ali.

Many have also urged fans to stop turning his films into cult classics years later and instead watch them in cinemas while they are still running.

This helped the film gain significant momentum at the box office, which left the lead actress, Sharvari, emotional.

Taking to Instagram, the 29-year-old actress wrote: “I don’t know if there’s a greater feeling than seeing something you poured your heart into find a place in other people’s hearts.

The film tells the story of two lovers whose relationship is challenged by the partition. Main Vaapas Aaunga released in cinemas on June 12.
