Shinde, who returned from a week-long trip to London, found out about an hour after reaching home that he did not have his mobile phone. After this his team immediately informed the police and a search for the phone was started. During investigation, it was found that the phone was not left at any other place but in the same British Airways flight by which Shinde had reached Mumbai. After a search of about an hour, the phone was found inside the plane and it was handed back to Shinde at around 4 pm.

According to the report, Eknath Shinde was on a London tour for about a week. He left for Britain on September 5 along with his close associates. He participated in many programs during the tour. While returning from London to Mumbai, he traveled by British Airways flight. The plane reached Mumbai at around 2 am. After leaving the airport, Shinde went to his home. About 3 am, about an hour after reaching home, he realized that his iPhone was not with him.

Shinde's team became active as soon as information was received about the missing phone. After informing the police, the airline's security team was contacted. Since there was a possibility of the phone being left in the plane, the security team started searching for it inside the plane. After much investigation, the phone was found inside the plane. The iPhone was handed back to Shinde at around 4 pm. In this way, it took about an hour from the time the phone went missing till it was recovered.

During Eknath Shinde's visit to London, he also met Indian cricket legend Virat Kohli. This visit was in the news after pictures and information related to their meeting came to light. According to the report, along with participating in several programs in London, Shinde also visited the memorial built in the former residence of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Apart from this, his picture and video while eating Vada Pav in London were also in the news.
