Shock for Triumph bike buyers, price increased for the second time in 2 months

British bike company Triumph has increased the prices of its entire 400 lineup. Now the starting ex-showroom price of this series has become Rs 2.09 lakh. The special thing is that the prices of these bikes have been increased for the second time in about 2 months.
Triumph’s 400cc lineup includes Speed T4, Speed 400, Tracker 400, Scrambler 400X, Scrambler 400XC and Thruxton 400. Recently the company had introduced a new 349cc engine in these bikes, after which the prices have been increased once again.
The price of Triumph Speed T4, the most affordable bike in the lineup, has increased by Rs 10,000. Now its ex-showroom price has become Rs 2.09 lakh, whereas earlier it was available for Rs 1.99 lakh. It has a 349cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which gives power of 28.6 bhp and torque of 31 Nm. It is provided with a 6-speed gearbox.
The price of Triumph Speed 400 has been increased by Rs 6,000 to Rs 2.40 lakh. At the same time, Scrambler 400X has also become costlier by Rs 6,000 and now it is priced at Rs 2.65 lakh. Both these bikes have a 349cc engine, which produces 36.4 bhp power and 32 Nm torque. The price of the company’s new Tracker 400 has increased by Rs 3,000. Now its price has become Rs 2.49 lakh. This is one of the most powerful bikes in the lineup. Its engine generates power of 39.45 bhp and torque of 32 Nm.
The price of Thruxton 400 has increased by Rs 5,000 to Rs 2.75 lakh. Tracker 400 engine tune has also been used in this. On the other hand, the price of Scrambler 400XC has also increased by Rs 5,000 to Rs 2.99 lakh. This model is based on the Scrambler 400X, but changes like spoke wheels, new graphics and different color options are seen in it. At present the company has not given any specific reason for increasing the price. However, increasing production costs and new updates in the auto industry are being considered as the reason for this.
