According to the information, Muskaan had reached the family counseling center from her village Kosmanda at around 10 am on Thursday morning. She left the center at around 2 pm, but instead of returning home, she went straight to Sant Kumar’s village Khokhra. There, in the Manka Dai temple, both of them got married as per Hindu customs in the presence of Saint Kumar and his family members.

It is being told that the boy’s family was already aware of this marriage, whereas the girl’s family got the information later. After the marriage in the temple, both of them accepted each other as their life partners.

When she did not reach home, her family informed the police.

When Muskaan, who left the office, did not reach home till evening and her mobile was switched off, her family informed the police. After this the police and cyber team started searching for them. During investigation, it was found that Muskaan was at Sant Kumar’s house in Khokhra village.

As soon as the information was received, Champa CSP Yogita Khapde reached the spot with the police team and confirmed the entire matter after talking to both of them. According to the police, Muskaan talked about living and marrying Sant Kumar of her own free will.

Muskaan and Sant Kumar told that even after the end of the marriage on June 23, both of them remained in constant touch on the phone. Both of them say that whatever happened on the wedding day was a conspiracy. Sant Kumar claims that he does not consume alcohol. According to him, on the day of the wedding, someone had mixed intoxicants in his cold drink, due to which people thought he was under the influence of alcohol. After the marriage broke up, he talked to Muskaan and apologized. Later, the misunderstandings between the two were resolved and they decided to live together. After this, both of them got married at Manka Dai temple on Thursday and gave a new name to their relationship.

However, this claim of drugs being mixed on the wedding day has not been independently or officially confirmed.
