India’s shooting campaign continues on Thursday, September 24, with Kedarling B Uchaganve, Aakash Bhardwaj and Kamaljeet competing in the men’s 10m air pistol events at the Asian Games 2026.
The action begins at 6:15 AM IST at the Aichi Prefectural General Shooting Gallery in Nagoya. The same session combines the men’s 10m air pistol individual qualification with the team competition, giving the three Indian shooters an early medal opportunity.
Kedarling B Uchaganve, Aakash Bhardwaj and Kamaljeet eye medal
The three Indian shooters will first compete in the individual qualification round. Their scores will also count towards the team competition, making the morning session important on two fronts.
The men’s 10m air pistol team final is scheduled for 6:15 AM IST, while the individual qualification takes place in the same session. If any of the Indian shooters make the individual final, they will return to the range for the medal round at 12:15 PM IST.
Shooting has already been one of India’s medal-producing sports at Aichi-Nagoya. Indian shooters have collected 7 medals so far (four silver and three bronze). The men’s 10m air pistol trio will now look to add to that tally.
