New Delhi: A major twist has come in Pune's famous Ketan Aggarwal murder case. Pune Rural Police on Saturday filed a detailed and sensational 5,053-page charge sheet before the Wadgaon Maval court. In this much-discussed case, the police have made deceased Ketan's fiancee Sia Goyal, her alleged lover Chetan Chaudhary and his associate Ritesh Sanjay Hange the main accused, who are currently waiting for their turn behind the bars. The technical, forensic and digital evidence collected under the leadership of Rural SP Sandeep Singh Gill has revealed the layers of a conspiracy that can surpass any terrifying crime thriller.
A dreadful conspiracy was hatched in the guise of an accident.
Police investigation revealed that at the beginning of the conspiracy, instead of killing Ketan, there was a plan to make him disabled for life. For this, the accused contacted hired criminals from another state, but changed their intention due to fear of blackmailing and revealing secrets.
The person with whom we talked about betel nut is now an important witness of the police. After this, the accused themselves planned the murder and studied crime movies, murder podcasts and the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case.
Why was Lohagarh Fort chosen?
In the last days of May, after recce of all the tourist places of Lonavala, Lohagarh Fort was finally considered suitable for the crime. A vicious thought behind this was that in March 2025, a girl from Navi Sangvi had died after falling from this fort. The accused felt that it would be very easy to prove that Ketan's death was an accident while taking a selfie.
Every obstacle in the way was removed to carry out the conspiracy. Both of them were scheduled to have a pre-wedding shoot in Bali, but on June 6, Sia slyly tore Ketan's passport and threw it away in the washroom of a cafe in Khalapur so that the foreign trip gets cancelled. After this, on June 14, an attempt was made to push him from a hill in Lohagarh and then to make him fall into a ditch by scaring him of a snake, but Ketan escaped.

After continuous failures, on June 18, on the advice of accused Ritesh, a fake Instagram profile was created with the name 'Mahi'. Messages were sent to Ketan from this account claiming to be Sia's friend and he was persuaded to come to Lohagarh on the pretext of giving Sia a surprise birthday. This social media account was deleted immediately after the crime was committed. To fully strengthen the case in the court, the police have included more than 100 witnesses, including 5 eyewitnesses. Scientific evidence like WhatsApp chats, call records (CDR), mobile data, photographs and GPS tracking are the main basis of this 5,053-page charge sheet, due to which it seems very difficult for the accused to escape.
