At the same time, a slight easing of global geopolitical tensions may also support investor sentiment. Investors should pay close attention to stocks of companies that are due to announce their quarterly results or have released important business updates.

Q1 results for these companies will be released today

Several major companies are scheduled to release their financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year on Monday. These include Vodafone Idea, Bosch, Amara Raja Energy & Mobility, AstraZeneca Pharma, Bharat Forge, Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company, CMS Info Systems, Dilip Buildcon, Gland Pharma, Hindustan Copper, KEC International, Info Edge (India), PC Jeweller, Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company, Triveni Turbines, TVS Supply Chain Solutions, Websol Energy System, Wockhardt, Yatharth Hospital & Trauma Care Services, and Zee Entertainment Enterprises.

The results of these companies may provide important clues to investors regarding profit, revenue, margins, and management’s future business projections.

Titan Company’s profit increased by 62.9%

Titan Company reported a strong quarterly performance. Its profit increased by 62.9% to ₹1,777 crore, compared to ₹1,091 crore in the same period last year. The company’s revenue also increased by 29.3% to ₹21,356 crore. Power Finance Corporation’s profit increased by 2.1% to ₹7,012 crore. However, the company’s net interest income declined by 3.3% to ₹10,696.4 crore, from ₹11,061.4 crore previously.

Oil India’s quarterly performance saw a significant improvement. Its profit increased by 253% to ₹2,870.2 crore, compared to ₹813.5 crore in the previous period. Revenue also increased by 58.8% to ₹7,958.1 crore.

Quarterly figures for other companies

Kaynes Technology India’s profit declined by 24.4 percent to ₹56.4 crore, although revenue increased by 40.5 percent to ₹9,460.2 crore.

Ola Electric Mobility’s loss narrowed to ₹336 crore, from ₹428 crore previously. However, the company’s revenue declined by 45 percent to ₹455 crore.

Entero Healthcare Solutions’ profit increased by 37.3 percent to ₹38.2 crore, and revenue increased by 38.2 percent to ₹1,940.5 crore.

Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals’ profit increased by 56.1 percent to ₹101 crore, and revenue increased by 13.9 percent to ₹1,166.6 crore.

Nitin Spinners’ profit increased by 83.6 percent to ₹75.3 crore, while revenue increased by 10.3 percent to ₹875 crore.

Signature Global, NMDC, and Vedanta Aluminum also saw action.

Signature Global and its subsidiary, Signature Global Business Park, have signed collaboration agreements for 11,887 acres and 13.73 acres of land, respectively, in Sohna, Gurugram.

NMDC has set the price of lump ore at ₹5,250 per tonne and fine ore at ₹4,500 per tonne, effective August 8th. Meanwhile, Vedanta Aluminum’s subsidiary, BALCO, has been declared the preferred bidder for the Karlapat bauxite block.
