Seah posted a video on Instagram on Oct. 20 celebrating her son Hayden’s completion of Basic Military Training during his National Service (NS), AsiaOne reported.
In the video, she expressed gratitude that the experience had made him more “respectful” and “considerate” of others.
The clip has received more than 191,000 views, nearly 3,700 likes and around 130 comments, with many viewers focusing on Seah’s appearance rather than the ceremony.
Several commenters expressed surprise that she had an adult son. One suggested she looked too young to be his mother and could pass for his older sister. Seah replied that she gave birth to Hayden at 27.

Seah told 8days that she was accustomed to such reactions, which have become more frequent as Hayden has grown older. She said she appreciates the compliments.
Hayden also takes pride in his mother’s youthful looks. His teachers have told Seah that he often praises her appearance at school and calls her pretty. At home, however, he is more straightforward, sometimes advising her to exercise when she gains weight or cut back on snacks. The two also work out together at their home gym in Bangkok.

Seah credits her youthful appearance to healthy habits, including sleeping eight hours a night and drinking two liters of water daily.
She also tries to leave work-related stress outside the home and takes supplements such as collagen and astaxanthin, an antioxidant.
Although she owns a beauty business, Seah said she has not undergone cosmetic procedures because she is too busy balancing work and family responsibilities.
Seah has been married to her Thai husband for more than 10 years. They have a nine-year-old daughter and a seven-year-old son.
The family moved to Thailand when Hayden was nine. Born in Singapore, he later returned to fulfill his National Service obligations and now lives with his grandparents, while the rest of the family remains in Bangkok.
Seah said Hayden initially struggled with the demanding training and separation from his family.
However, she believes National Service has made him more respectful, considerate and appreciative of family time.
“I feel proud that he has become a much better version of himself through his own patience, tolerance and discipline,” she said.
