‘Six of Uddhav Thackeray’s MPs have joined our Shiv Sena’, says a big claim by the Shinde faction leader:

Read, Digital Desk : The political rumors are again heating up in Maharashtra with Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) MLC Chandrakant Raghuvanshi claimed on Thursday that six Lok Sabha MPs from the Uddhav Thackeray faction have switched sides and joined the Shinde faction. Shiv Sena MLC Chandrakant Raghuvanshi said, “Operation Tiger has happened in Maharashtra. Six MPs of the Uddhav group expressed their trust in Eknath Shinde and joined our Shiv Sena today…it’s good that they joined our group, and I welcome them”. He also added that any leader who wants to work for the people, should come in the alliance of Shiv Sena and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).    Politics like 2022 is on the card: The reports suggest that about seven of the nine sitting Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) MPs are in touch with the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena and were planning to jump ships. If it happens, the situation would become a political crisis similar to the political crisis of 2022, following the political split in Maharashtra known as ‘Operation Tiger’ which bifurcated the party into two.  On Thursday, Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav slammed Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut saying that the language used by the Rajya Sabha member is destroying the Uddhav Thackeray-led group. When asked about ‘Operation Tiger’ and the letter from Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs, Jadhav told ANI that the matter was now the purview of the Speaker of the Lok Sabha and that the letter from the MPs was an internal matter of the Shiv Sena (UBT), on which the Speaker will take a decision.   Prataprao Jadhav’s jibe at Uddhav group on Foundation Day Meanwhile, Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav took an indirect swipe at the Uddhav Thackeray faction ahead of Shiv Sena’s foundation day, saying that only those leaders who are genuine believers in the core ideology of Balasaheb Thackeray would get together on the special occasion. “Tomorrow (June 19) is the foundation day of Shiv Sena and those who are true followers of the ideology of Balasaheb Thackeray will be gathering,” the Union Minister said, indirectly inferring that the Eknath Shinde faction is the true Shiv Sena.
