Skoda has officially announced the second batch of its popular performance sedan. But this time, there will be fierce competition to buy this car, as the company will be making only 50 cars available for sale in this batch – half the number compared to the first batch. In short, this is a one-of-a-kind limited edition.
The car was imported and launched via CBU route to mark Skoda's 25 years in India last year. Priced at ₹49.99 lakh ex-showroom, the first batch of 100 cars were booked within 20 minutes of bookings opening!

The sports sedan gets a 2.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine, which generates 265 PS of power and 370 Nm of torque. This car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds, while its top speed is 250 km/h. It gets sports suspension, progressive steering and 19-inch 'Elias Anthracite' alloy wheels.
Attractive look and color options
The Octavia RS gets LED taillights with glossy black elements, full-LED matrix headlights and dynamic indicators to give it a sporty look. The car will be available in 5 attractive colors – Mamba Green, Candy White, Race Blue, Magic Black and Velvet Red. It gets a large boot of 600 litres, which can be extended up to 1555 litres.
