The departing monsoon has suddenly become very aggressive in different parts of the country. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a fresh weather bulletin and issued an alert of torrential rain, lightning and strong storm winds in 15 major states of the country. According to meteorologists, a strong low-pressure area is active over south-west Uttar Pradesh and surrounding areas. Along with this, due to the combined effect of monsoon trough line and cyclonic circulation, there has been tremendous accumulation of clouds in North, Central and Eastern India, due to which the crisis of heavy rains and waterlogging may deepen in the coming 48 to 72 hours.
The states of North, Central and North-East India lead the list of sensitive states identified by the Meteorological Department:

Uttar Pradesh: There is a possibility of lightning along with heavy rain in both western and eastern parts.

Uttarakhand: There is a danger of very heavy rain and cloud burst like conditions in the mountainous areas.

Himachal Pradesh: Rivers are in spate in many districts and there is a possibility of torrential rain.

Jammu and Kashmir: There is an alert of waterlogging with heavy showers in the valley and low-lying areas.

Bihar: Heavy rainfall with thunder is expected in Seemanchal and Central districts.

Madhya Pradesh: Rain will continue over eastern and western MP with winds of 40 to 50 km/hr.

Chhattisgarh: There has been a warning of widespread rainfall in southern and central parts.

West Bengal (Gangetic Coastal and Sub-Himalayan): Alert of heavy to very heavy rain and lightning.

Odisha: A new round of rain and thundershowers in coastal and interior areas.

Jharkhand: Chance of moderate to heavy rain with thunderstorm.

Assam and Meghalaya: River water level rises due to widespread rain in the Northeast.

Arunachal Pradesh: Risk of landslides on mountain roads due to heavy rainfall.

The water level of major rivers like Ganga, Yamuna, Ghaghra, Kosi and Brahmaputra and their tributaries is rising rapidly. The Central Water Commission (CWC) has warned of localized flooding in low-lying and coastal areas of the plain states and has instructed the district administrations to remain on high alert.
According to meteorologists, during this seasonal change, not only rain but also Lightning Strikes It has emerged as the biggest deadly threat. Gusty winds are expected to blow at a speed of 50 to 70 kilometers per hour in many areas, due to which there is a fear of uprooting old trees, electric poles and hoardings.
