Sofia Vergara and Imagine Dragons singer Dan Reynolds could be Hollywood’s next big couple.
According to TMZthe 54-year-old Colombian-American actress and the 39-year-old American singer sparked romance speculation after being spotted holding hands during what appeared to be a dinner date over the weekend.
Photos obtained by the outlet show the rumoured couple enjoying a meal at Cipriani in Beverly Hills, California, as Reynolds reached across the table to hold Vergara’s hand.
The pair were also joined by makeup mogul Anastasia Soare and an unidentified male friend at the upscale Italian restaurant.
The Demons hitmaker and the Modern Family star were later seen leaving the restaurant discreetly through its back door after midnight.
The sighting follows Reynolds’ reported breakup with actor Minka Kelly earlier this month after four years of dating.
Following the split, Kelly took to social media to share a heartfelt message about moving forward.
“Soulmates, or partners of destiny, can be people that come into your life and change your life. And ideally, it’s not about holding on to it, but understanding what they brought into your life. What did you learn and how did you change?” she wrote in a text post shared as part of an Instagram carousel last week.
The post further read, “It’s about seeing these people and these situations as a gift, as steps in your own personal development.”
Meanwhile, Vergara’s past relationship with her ex-husband, Joe Manganiello, has also drawn attention recently.
Manganiello alleged in his memoir Bloodlines that the actress refused to hug him while he was battling an autoimmune disease. Following the claims, her 35-year-old son, Manolo, shared a post about “dealing with a narcissist.”
“Remember kids… it doesn’t matter how much you do for a narcissist. They will resent you for it, and nothing will ever be enough, and they’ll always somehow try to paint you as the bad guy,” Sofia Vergara’s son wrote.
