Actor and filmmaker Sohail Khan has spoken candidly about his divorce from Seema Sajdeh, taking responsibility for the breakdown of their marriage and reflecting on the challenges that affected their relationship.

Responding honestly, he revealed that professional struggles had affected his emotional well-being at the time.
“My work wasn’t going well, and I wasn’t in the right frame of mind. Because of my behaviour, I lost someone I truly loved,” Sohail said.
His remarks highlighted the personal accountability he feels regarding the relationship and the impact of difficult circumstances on family life.
‘I Have Immense Respect for Seema’
Despite their separation, Sohail spoke warmly about Seema Sajdeh and the bond they continue to share as parents.
“She is the mother of my two beautiful children, so more than love, I have immense respect for Seema,” he said.
The actor added that appearing on the show together helped them reconnect and communicate more openly.
According to Sohail, there had been a missing link in their relationship after the separation, and the experience of participating in the show helped bridge that gap.
Maintaining a Strong Co-Parenting Relationship
Sohail also shared details about their current family dynamic.
He revealed that their sons, Nirvaan and Yohan, live with him, while Seema remains actively involved in their lives. According to Sohail, she visits the family home several times a week and continues to maintain a close relationship with their children.

Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh married in 1998 after eloping. Their wedding included both an Arya Samaj ceremony and a nikkah.
After spending 24 years together and raising two sons, the couple officially separated in 2022. While their marriage ended, both have continued to maintain mutual respect and focus on their responsibilities as parents.
