Jyoti Nagar: 2 acre tent warehouse destroyed
There was panic in East Delhi’s Jyoti Nagar at around 1 pm when a massive fire broke out in a huge tent warehouse.
Loss: The warehouse spread over about 2 acres was burnt to ashes. Action: The fire was so terrible that 23 fire engines had to be called to the spot. Fortunately: Goods worth lakhs were burnt, but no one died.
Delhi fire: Ghaziabad: Chemical factory turned bomb
A massive fire broke out at 1:52 pm in a chemical factory in Mussoorie area of Ghaziabad, adjacent to Delhi. Oxygen tank filling and painting work was done here, due to which the fear of explosions had increased. **10 vehicles** from Ghaziabad, Hapur and Noida reached the spot and after an hour’s effort the fire was extinguished.
Delhi fire: Majlis Park and Punjabi Bagh
The fire took a huge form in the forest area of Majlis Park on Saturday. At the same time, a day before this, the fire that broke out in the slums of Punjabi Bagh also caused a lot of damage. Due to the promptness of the fire brigade, the fire was stopped from spreading to the residential buildings.
Rohini: ‘Short circuit’ wreaks havoc in 4 storey building
A four-storey house caught fire in Rohini Sector-24 on Friday night. The fire, which broke out at around 9 pm, had engulfed the entire building. Rescue: The good thing is that everyone present in the building came out safely in time. Reason: In the initial investigation, it is believed to be the result of short circuit or bursting of gas pipeline.
