Innocent child went to Gurukul to study, uncle beat him brutally, 11 year old Divyansh died, accused arrested
Lucknow. A heart-wrenching case has come to light in Maharajpur area of Kanpur, where 11 year old innocent Divyansh, who was studying in Gurukul, died under suspicious circumstances. In the post mortem report, a total of 42 serious injury marks were found on the child’s body. There were deep injury marks on the body of the innocent child on his hands, legs, back and chest. Not only this, 11 burn marks from cigarettes were also found on his body.

Narendra Kumar, resident of Gauraiya village of Maharajpur, Kanpur, said that he had sent his only son to Lucknow on April 15 to study at his maternal uncle’s house. Divyansh was admitted to Ramanuj Bhagwat Ved Vidyapeeth Gurukul located in Alamnagar, Lucknow. The Gurukul was being run by Divyansh’s maternal uncle, Saurabh Mishra alias Kanhaiya. The family had no idea that the person they trusted would become their child’s death. The accused committed the incident last Tuesday. Police investigation has revealed that the Gurukul operator brutally beat the child. The accused has confessed during interrogation that he made Divyansh stand in the sun for hours and beat him with slaps, kicks, punches and sticks throughout the night. Meanwhile, due to a strong kick, the child fell unconscious after hitting the wall. After this, the accused told the police that he left her there and when he came the next morning on Wednesday, he found her dead. After this the family members were informed about his illness. The post-mortem has also revealed that he was repeatedly hit with a heavy object, causing internal injuries. The family members have also expressed suspicion of foul play, due to which samples have been sent to the lab for testing. Gurukul director Saurabh told the police that Divyansh did not follow the rules of Gurukul, due to which other children started doing wrong things. He did not study properly in class.
Conspiracy hatched to hide the incident
According to the police, the role of his close female friend Priyanka in removing the CCTV footage of Gurukul has come to light, who is being taken into custody and interrogated. The woman is said to be the girlfriend of the accused. Taking action in the case, the police has arrested the main accused Saurabh Mishra. Police say that the entire matter is being thoroughly investigated and strict legal action will be taken keeping all the aspects in mind. The deceased innocent boy was the only son of his parents.
