Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi reunite for ‘Suno Naa Dil’ after 8 years

Mumbai: Celebrated playback singers Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan have reunited after eight years for the romantic track ‘Suno Naa Dil’ from the upcoming film Daadi Ki Shaadi, rekindling the magic of their iconic musical collaborations.

The song marks their first collaboration since 2018 and has already begun resonating with listeners, thanks to its old-school romantic charm and emotionally rich composition.

A reunion filled with nostalgia

Reflecting on working with Sunidhi again, Sonu Nigam described the experience as seamless despite the long gap.

He said that although their last song together was recorded years ago, it felt as if no time had passed. He highlighted their strong vocal chemistry and emphasised that true musical connection goes beyond notes to capture emotion.

“Some voices don’t just blend, they create memories,” he noted, adding that ‘Suno Naa Dil’ carries that same timeless quality.

‘A timeless love story in music’

Sunidhi Chauhan echoed similar sentiments, calling the collaboration a refreshing and emotionally fulfilling experience.

She praised composer Gulraj Singh for crafting a simple yet soulful melody and credited lyricist Manoj Yadav for creating words that are both catchy and heartfelt.

Sunidhi described the track as a classic romantic piece that feels real and timeless, adding that recording it felt more like narrating a love story through music rather than just singing a song.

Visual appeal and storytelling

The song features actors Kapil Sharma and Sadia Khateeb, whose on-screen chemistry brings alive subtle, unspoken moments of romance.

‘Suno Naa Dil’ focuses on fleeting emotional connections, capturing the essence of love that does not always need words. The track blends modern sensibilities with a nostalgic tone, appealing to both younger audiences and fans of classic Bollywood melodies.
