Sony Pictures Network : By Sony Pictures Network India (Sony Pictures Network) today unveiled its extensive content slate for the upcoming festival season, which represents the company's recently articulated strategy of building a content-first, platform-centric and multilingual entertainment business.

Expanding entertainment in multiple languages with a jam-packed calendar of live sports, the slate executes this strategy through premium intellectual properties (IP), globally successful formats adapted for Indian audiences, new indigenous concepts and content designed to reach audiences across television, as well as digital platforms. Bringing together all these content universes digitally is Sony Live's new brand positioning 'It All Lives Here', establishing the platform as the digital home of all SPNI's entertainment and sports offerings.
A celebration of life-changing stories
The highlight of the festive slate is Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18, which premieres today on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony Live. This new season returns with the 'Sochna Padega' campaign concept, continuing the show's legacy of celebrating knowledge, aspirations and life-changing stories.
Rohit Sharsma debuts in the field of entertainment with his own show
Expanding his Hindi entertainment portfolio, cricket legend Rohit Sharma will make his debut in entertainment with his own show on the network. Ajay Devgn will be hosting the thrilling true-crime series Crime Patrol 2026 and will bring extraordinary true events to the audience through the show's unique storytelling. Adding comedy and spirited entertainment to the slate is the Indian game show hosted by Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachia, which will bring celebrities together in a series of entertaining challenges.
The content offering also includes Sony Live, Birla Studios and Applause Entertainment's series Scam 2010, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Hansal Mehta. The show will present the rise and fall of a vast financial empire.
An important step in multilingual expansion
The slate also proves to be a significant step in SPNI's multilingual expansion. Padma Shri winner Madhuri Dixit will host the would-be Crorepati, bringing new identity and energy to the Marathi version of this iconic KBC format. For Tamil audiences, Sony Live MasterChef Tamil, featuring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and presenting Tamil Idol, will be the first Tamil incarnation of the globally acclaimed singing competition format, featuring composer A.R. Rahman will lead the search for Tamil Nadu's next great singing talent.
Sony Sports Network's Festival of Sports
Adding to the entertainment offering is Sony Sports Network's Festival of Sports, an action-packed calendar from August 15 to December 1, 2026. This will include India's tour of Sri Lanka, Women's T20 Asia Cup, Asian Games and India's tour of New Zealand in all formats, giving fans more than three months of international cricket and multi-sport action.
