Monsoon has arrived in Andhra Pradesh, warning of heat wave along with rain and strong winds issued in many districts

Andhra Pradesh Weather Update: South-west monsoon has arrived in Andhra Pradesh. Giving information, Karuna Sagar, scientist of Amravati Meteorological Centre, said that monsoon is increasing rapidly in Anantapur, Tirupati and Chittoor regions. Heavy rainfall is likely in other parts of the state in the next two to three days.

The Meteorological Department said that this is very good news for the farmers. Because agriculture will get huge benefits due to rain in the area. It will continue to rain in Rayalaseema region in the coming 7 days. Although there is a possibility of light rain at some places, but around the seventh day i.e. June 13-14, coastal Andhra Pradesh may receive heavy rainfall.

IMD issued alert

Giving information, Meteorologist Karuna Sagar said that there is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning in many areas of Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra Pradesh for the next five days. Also, strong winds can blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. The effect of strong winds will also be seen in Anantapur and those areas where it is already raining. He said that North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Central Coastal areas may also experience strong winds during storms and thunderstorms.

There will be no relief from hitwave

According to the Meteorological Department, despite the arrival of monsoon, there is no possibility of any major drop in temperature for the next five days and the effect of extreme heat will continue. The heatwave conditions that have been prevailing for the last two days may continue for the next three days. Many coastal areas including Nellore, Prakasam, Palanadu, Bapatla, Guntur, Krishna, West Godavari, Konaseema, Kakinada and NTR districts will experience extremely hot and humid summer conditions.

Appeal not to leave the house unnecessarily

The weather department said that people may also have to face heat and humidity in Eluru, East Godavari, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Anakapalle districts. Therefore, there is an appeal to the people not to leave the house unnecessarily between 11 am to 4 pm. If necessary, use cap, glasses and body covering clothes while going out and consume adequate amount of water and buttermilk.

In view of the strong winds, the Meteorological Department has appealed to the people not to stand under the trees. Because due to strong wind, there is a possibility of tree branches breaking, small plants uprooting and damage to electricity and telephone poles.
