On 03.10.2026, Superintendent of Police Sonbhadra Abhishek Verma organized an orderly room of Police Station Duddhi, Police Station Vindhamganj, Police Station Mayorpur, Police Station Bhabni and Police Station Bijpur under Duddhi Circle in Police Station Duddhi and reviewed crime control, investigations, public hearing, Mission Shakti and cyber crimes.
Area Officer Duddhi Vinay Prabhakar Sahni, Deputy Superintendent of Police Laxman Parvat, inspector in-charge of all the police stations, outpost in-charge and other police officers were present in the orderly room.
During the review, instructions were given for quality and timely disposal of pending inquiries, applications and public complaints. Instructions were given to take prompt action with sensitivity in crimes related to women and girls and to make women safety, awareness and women help desk effective under Mission Shakti Abhiyan. While reviewing cyber crimes, special emphasis was laid on immediate action on complaints of cyber fraud, efforts to hold/freeze the victims' money and publicity of helpline 1930.
Apart from this, instructions were given for timely disposal of complaints of IGRS, Chief Minister Helpline and other portals, arrest of wanted criminals, serving of warrants, preventive action, continuous monitoring of history-sheeters and unruly elements and increasing night patrolling and effective checking of suspicious persons/vehicles.
Thereafter, Police Station Duddhi was inspected by Superintendent of Police Sonbhadra. During the inspection, the police station premises, office, records, public hearing system, women help desk/Mission Shakti related arrangements, barracks, Malkhana and cleanliness were reviewed. While inspecting the records and office work, the Superintendent of Police gave instructions to the concerned officers and employees for systematic maintenance of records, prompt and quality disposal of public complaints and to ensure cleanliness and better arrangements in the police station premises.
During the inspection, necessary guidelines were given by the Superintendent of Police to make the arrangements related to women and girls safety more effective, to take sensitive and prompt action on the complaints received at the Women Help Desk and to make women and girls aware as per the objectives of Mission Shakti Abhiyan.
In the end, the Superintendent of Police directed all the officers and employees to work with discipline, honesty, sensitivity and spirit of public service to maintain law and order and strengthen public confidence.
