During this, SP workers demonstrated and raised slogans of “vote thief”. Describing the foot march as historic, SP District President and Sadar MLA Mahendranath Yadav said that it is necessary to ensure the security of every citizen's vote and fairness of the election process.

Taking seriously the questions and apprehensions arising in the minds of the general public regarding the electoral system, the election process should be made completely transparent and accountable. An independent and impartial investigation should be conducted into the allegations being made against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
