Ahmedabad, 24 June 2026: In the final match of the exciting SPCT U-12 Cricket Cup 2026 played at the SPCT Cricket Ground, Ahmedabad, the GCIA team won the championship trophy with an amazing performance. In the grand final, GCIA team played a one-sided game against the opponent Spct U-12.Ahd. The team was defeated by 10 wickets. GCIA bowlers and opening batsmen were completely dominating in this entire match.
The final match proved to be a nightmare for the Spct U-12 Ahmedabad team, which won the toss and decided to bat first. Against the lethal bowling attack of GCIA, the entire team was sent to the pavilion after scoring 73 runs in just 21.3 overs. From the team, KR Singh contributed the maximum 13 runs, Vihaan Gandhi 12 runs and Captain Manvraj Singh Chudasama and Daksh Tak contributed 11 runs each. Naresh Patel created a stir in the bowling for GCIA, taking 3 wickets for 9 runs with 1 maiden in just 3.3 overs. While Aditya Purswani took 3 wickets for 11 runs in 4 overs and Mihir M. Jadve broke the back of the rival team by giving away 3 important wickets for 24 runs in 6 overs.
GCIA’s opening pair, who were out to chase the small target of just 74 runs, started batting explosively as soon as they entered the field. Opener Shloka B. Patel scored 33 unbeaten runs in 54 balls with the help of 5 wickets. While his teammate Mihir M. Jadve also performed all-round and scored unbeaten 21 runs in 35 balls with 4 fours. Both the openers scored 75 runs in just 16.1 overs without losing any wicket and gave their team a grand victory by 10 wickets. With this brilliant victory, the GCIA team under the captaincy of Yuvansh Jain became this year’s Under-12 champion.
