Special gram sabhas will be organized in the state on October 2 and it will be organized as Reform Utsav to spread citizen-centric reforms at the public level.

For this, State Panchayat Commissioner Chhote Singh has issued instructions to the CEOs of all the District Panchayats and has said in the instructions that the appointment and necessary orientation of the nodal officers and relevant facilitators/stakeholders at the Gram Panchayat level for organizing the Jan Abhiyan Yojana-Sabki Yojana, Sabka Vikas and Reform Utsav at the district, district and gram panchayat level will be completed well in advance.

Timely scheduling of the special Gram Sabha of October 2, 2026 should be ensured in all the Gram Panchayats on the Gram Panchayat Development Scheme portal. While inaugurating the upcoming preparations in the Gram Sabha, the current status of the Gram Panchayat and local development priorities and low performing areas should be discussed.
