‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ reveals premiere date alongside teaser

The wait for the next voyage is almost over, as Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 4 has officially locked in its premiere date on Paramount+.

The upcoming fourth season premieres July 23 with episodes coming out weekly until the finale on September 24.

A fresh teaser has been released for the upcoming season with the announcement made at CCXP Mexico City on the Paramount+ Thunder Stage.

Variety had already reported that Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will return for a fifth season, marking the end of the series.

“The crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, led by Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount); embark on a series of thrilling and emotional adventures across the stars. As they journey to strange new worlds, they will battle inner demons and external threats, encounter colorful new characters, reunite with familiar faces and confront terrifying aliens. Through it all, they strive to embrace a bright, hopeful future,” the logline for season 4 read.

Alongside Anson Mount, the cast members are Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun and Martin Quinn, along with guest stars Carol Kane and Paul Wesley.

Fans reacted to the news by taking to social media with their comments, asking for more seasons.

“We want a sixth, seventh… season!” a fan said.

“I wish the journey could go on forever,” another stated.
