Stock Market Today: Stock market shines due to softening of crude oil, Sensex and Nifty regained their shine

Mumbai. Sensex and Nifty registered a rise in early trade on Wednesday due to softening of global crude oil prices. BSE Sensex rose 187.63 points to 76,388.31 in early trade while NSE Nifty rose 57.75 points to 23,878.85. Among the 30 companies included in the Sensex, shares of Tech Mahindra, ICICI Bank, Trent, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services and Kotak Mahindra Bank were the most profitable.

At the same time, shares of Maruti, Bharti Airtel, NTPC and Tata Steel declined. In Asian markets, South Korea’s Kospi and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading with gains, while Japan’s Nikkei 225 and China’s SSE Composite are trading in decline.

American markets closed with a sharp fall on Tuesday. The Nasdaq Composite lost 2.21 percent while the S&P 500 lost 1.44 percent. On Tuesday, Sensex closed with a fall of 893.39 points and Nifty with a fall of 278.80 points.

The price of international standard Brent crude fell by 1.02 percent to around $ 76.29 per barrel. According to stock market data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net buyers on Tuesday and bought shares worth Rs 17.86 crore.
