Stock Market Today: Stock markets opened with strength, Sensex-Nifty rose due to fall in oil prices, know what is the condition of business.

Mumbai. Sensex and Nifty registered a rise in early trade on Thursday amid fall in crude oil prices and positive trend in Asian stock markets. BSE Sensex rose 440.23 points to 77,435.76 in early trade while NSE Nifty rose 137.80 points to 24,147.60. Among the 30 companies included in the Sensex, shares of InterGlobe Aviation, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra, UltraTech Cement, State Bank of India and Hindustan Unilever gained the most.

At the same time, shares of Power Grid Corporation, Titan, Infosys and Bharat Electronics remained in loss. In Asian markets, South Korea’s Kospi is trading with a gain of more than five percent while Japan’s Nikkei-225 is trading with a gain of almost four percent. China’s SSE Composite also showed slight gains. However, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading in decline.

American stock markets closed with a decline on Wednesday. The price of international standard Brent crude fell by 1.72 percent to around $ 72.47 per barrel. According to stock market data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers on Wednesday and sold shares worth Rs 1,843.40 crore. BSE Sensex closed with a gain of 790.54 points and NSE Nifty with a gain of 197.55 points on Wednesday.
