‘Stop abusing, he is not a traitor but a countryman’: Arvind Kejriwal angry over E-20 petrol, surrounds PM Modi
Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has once again launched a scathing attack on the central government. This time the issue is ‘E-20 petrol’. Kejriwal has expressed strong displeasure over the attitude of the government ministers by releasing a video on the social media platform ‘X’. He alleges that those who are raising their voice against E-20 petrol are facing derogatory words from the government.
‘It is not right to be so arrogant’
In the video, Arvind Kejriwal said, “For the last few days, I have been seeing that ministers are abusing people who oppose E-20 petrol. Sometimes they are being called traitors, and sometimes they are being called petrol lobby brokers or unemployed social workers. I want to tell the Prime Minister that such arrogance of power is not right.” Kejriwal said that these people are not traitors, but are part of the 140 crore patriotic citizens of our country, who are expressing their views. He appealed to PM Modi to listen to the grievances of these people and find a solution instead of suppressing their voice in democracy.
Questions raised again on petrol prices
Along with E-20 petrol, Kejriwal has also raised questions on the government’s intentions regarding the rising prices of petrol. He argued that the prices of crude oil in the international market have fallen from $115 per barrel to $70 per barrel. Despite this, why is petrol not becoming cheaper in the country? According to Kejriwal, in the current situation the price of petrol should be around Rs 82 per liter. He accused the government of putting the burden of inflation on the common man despite oil being cheap globally.
Sunderkand and signature campaign will be held in Delhi
Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party has prepared a new strategy to open a front against the central government. ‘Sunderkand Path’ will be organized at Japanese Park (Sector 10) in Rohini, Delhi on Sunday. The party claims that through this the government will be cornered regarding the Ram Mandir donation theft case. After Sunderkand, Hanuman Chalisa will be recited at various places in Delhi and a big ‘signature campaign’ will be run. Under this campaign, common citizens will sign the letter written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
