Surat. A case of sudden attack of a stray dog on a school van driver has come to light in Dindoli area of the city. The incident is being reported around 8:26 am on Thursday. During the attack, the driver fell to the ground, but the dog did not leave his leg. The entire incident was captured in a nearby CCTV camera, the video of which has now surfaced.
The incident occurred when a woman had reached there to send her small child to the school van. The woman was making the child sit in the van, when a stray dog came swiftly from behind and pounced on the driver. The driver could not control himself due to the sudden attack and fell on the ground.
The attack continued even after falling on the ground
CCTV footage shows that the dog did not leave the driver even after falling on the ground. He caught hold of the driver's leg. The driver kept trying to save himself for a long time and somehow managed to escape from the clutches of the dog.
Information has come to light that the driver suffered serious injuries to his hands and legs in the attack. The woman standing nearby also got scared during the incident. She first made her child sit safely in the van, closed the door and then went away from there herself.
