Everything has been destroyed in the flood. There is no hope in life anywhere. The miracle happened in that Nepal which became Harpa Bane Mritupuri. An old woman was rescued from the rubble 11 days after the great flood. Besides, a foreign national was rescued in the Upper Trishuli-1 tunnel.
According to local sources, most of the houses in the vicinity were destroyed by the flood of Trishuli river. The four storied house of an old lady belonging to Vidur Municipality in Nuwakot was not spared from the destruction. The house was buried under mud and rubble. The rescuers assumed that no one was supposed to be alive after so long. At that time, the rescuers heard faint voices from inside the rubble of the house, which had practically melted into the ground. Rescue work started immediately. The woman was somehow rescued alive after removing the wreckage.

The identity of the woman is already known, she is Chandika Shrestha. Age approximately 60 years. According to rescuers, he was rescued in critical condition. He was rushed to the hospital. He is said to be stable for now. However, after being trapped under the rubble for such a long time, the locals consider it miraculous to be rescued. Besides, one more foreign national has been rescued in Upper Trishuli-1 tunnel, Nepal administration said. However, nothing is known about his identity.
It should be noted that on August 26, due to the glacier collapse, the terrible Harpa Ban in the Trishuli river. Northern Nepal was virtually reduced to rubble. 1344 people have died in this flood so far. More than 5 thousand are missing. Out of which 589 are foreign nationals. As time goes by this number is increasing by leaps and bounds. Chandika Shrestha's rescue in the midst of this dire situation has given new hope to the people who have lost their loved ones. A search has been launched to see if anyone else is trapped under the rubble.
