Suicide terrorist attack in Pakistan! 15 dead including 12 Army Pak jawans

A suicide bomb blast in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The incident took place on Thursday night in the area bordering Afghanistan. A total of 15 people including 12 Pakistani soldiers died in the incident. It is reported that 12 extremists were killed in Pakistan’s retaliatory strike.

According to Pak Army sources, a suicide attack took place in Tank district of northwestern Pakhtunkhwa province on the Pak-Afghanistan border on Thursday night. The Pakistani army said the extremists, unable to break through Pakistani security, rammed a car loaded with explosives into the wall outside the checkpoint. A total of 15 people including 12 army jawans, two policemen and one from the forest department were killed in this attack.

The Pak Army released a statement saying, ‘Fifteen of our heroes have been martyred. The attackers drove a vehicle loaded with explosives outside the checkpoint. The infrastructure of the checkpoint was also damaged in the blast. Taliban militants known as Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for the incident. They said that four of them carried out this suicide attack.

Notably, militancy has increased in northwest Pakistan in recent months. As in every case, Pakistan claims that Afghanistan has a hand in it. But the Taliban government of Afghanistan denied it. Islamabad further alleged that the militants used the safe soil of Afghanistan to carry out the attack. However, Afghanistan claims that terrorist attacks are Pakistan’s internal problem.
