How dangerous is Sukhoi Su-57, the ‘silent killer’ of the air?
Sukhoi Su-57: Russian President Vladimir Putin has once again proposed to India the joint development and manufacturing of the fifth generation Sukhoi Su-57 stealth fighter jet. Putin said that Russia does not want to limit defense cooperation with India to just a buy-sell relationship, but is ready to deepen it further.
According to India Today report, Putin said that Russia is fully ready for cooperation with India on modern fighter aircraft Su-57. He also mentioned the decades-old military relations between India and Russia.
On the question asked about Su-57, Putin said that the history of cooperation in the defense sector between India and Russia goes back to the era of the Soviet Union. He said that a large part of the Indian Armed Forces still uses Russian military equipment.

Putin said, “India has traditionally been buying aircraft and helicopters from us. The Su-57 is an excellent fighter aircraft. It is probably the most modern and sophisticated fighter jet in the world and is also very effective.”
He said that the Su-57 can be operated with two pilots and can also act as a command center. He also said that apart from military aviation, Russia also remains a major power in the field of naval platforms like submarines and warships.
